Feed Your Soul and Help Support “Food Your Soul” this Earth Month

This April, Torno Subito teams up with Illy to support Food for Soul, donating proceeds from each Espresso Martini to fight food waste.

This month, Torno Subito is taking its commitment a step further by partnering with Illy to give back and support Bottura’s nonprofit, Food for Soul. A portion of proceeds from every Espresso Martini sold in April will go toward fighting food waste and fostering equitable food systems. But Torno Subito’s impact doesn’t stop when the month ends.

Through its partnership with Miami local organization Compost for Life, Torno Subito has already diverted more than 1,000 pounds of food scraps from landfills, transforming them into nutrient-rich compost for local farms. Even empty wine bottles find new life through another Miami local organization, Glass for Life, helping to restore Florida’s beaches. And by sourcing ingredients from local purveyors including locally produced cheeses from Capri Organic in Naples and local fruits and vegetables from Empower Farms in Homestead, the restaurant reduces its carbon footprint while supporting Florida’s agricultural community. Torno Subito’s “fun-dining” approach is a  philosophy that extends beyond the food and into their deeper mission—proving that sustainability can be just as exciting as indulgence.
