Hoffman’s Chocolates is kicking off the back-to-school season with a drive to improve the lives of abused, abandoned and neglected children in South Florida. Hoffman’s is collaborating with ChildNet, a community-based care lead agency in Broward and Palm Beach counties, to provide free Chocolate Ice Cream Sundaes to anyone who donates a new school backpack to a Hoffman’s Chocolates retail location. Simply bring in a new backpack and exchange it for your delicious ice cream sundae!
“We do this to help as many children and families in the community as we can and provide the students with the necessary tools to go back to school and set them up for success.” – Lois Marino, Director of Community Engagement for Hoffman’s Chocolates.
The drive will take place from July 29 through August 11 at Hoffman’s Chocolate stores in Greenacres, Boca Raton, Palm Beach Gardens, Delray Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Plantation and Weston.
