Gutenburg Burger, a German-American burger concept, recently debuted at Time Out Market Miami, home to chef-inspired events, arts and culture, and live entertainment. Chef Jorge Kauam launched the eatery to honor Germany’s history of high-quality beef and highlight the hamburger’s proclaimed roots in his new menu.
“Our buns are a mix of a brioche and potato buns, and the beef patties are smashed and smoked blends of cuts,” Kauam says. Every single sauce is homemade and carefully selected and prepared. We take a lot of pride in our ingredients.”
The menu features four signature burgers, including the Gutenburg Burger with a double patty, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, diced onion, and house-made pickles, topped with special sauce. Other options include the Goat Cheese and Wild Mushroom Burger, topped with crispy onion and aioli, and the Guten Belly of slow-cooked and caramelized pork belly, slaw, pickles and bourbon fig barbeque sauce. For the brunch lover, enjoy the Egg and Truffle with a beef patty, fried egg and American cheese with truffle fries.
Gutenberg also offers a vegan plant-based burger, hot dogs, kids’ selections, and a dessert menu of delicious milkshakes. Time Out Market Miami is located at 1601 Drexel Ave. in Miami Beach.
