Hoffman’s Chocolates Launches Holiday Extravaganza

A tree lighting ceremony will take place on Friday, Nov. 24.

To spread joy and sweetness during the holiday season, Hoffman’s Chocolates is hosting the Hoffman’s Chocolates Holiday Extravaganza presented by Florida Blue at its Greenacres location (5190 Lake Worth Road) from Friday, Nov. 24 to Saturday, Dec. 30. As part of its commitment to supporting the community, the six-week-long celebration will feature a stunning 40-foot holiday tree adorned with 15,000 lights, over 800 ornaments and a 5-foot 3D tree topper on the front lawn of the store, providing a picturesque backdrop for visitors to take photos. In addition, guests can participate in chocolate-making classes, view and vote on holiday wreaths, take photos with Santa on select weekend nights, and enjoy other exciting holiday activities.

The well-known chocolatier has planned a celebratory tree lighting ceremony on Friday, Nov. 24, starting at 6 p.m. (The tree will be lit at 6:30 p.m.) Along with local dignitaries, Hoffman’s Chocolates will ceremoniously light the tree. Attendees can take photos with Santa Claus, enjoy family-friendly activities such as face painting and holiday music, and sample seasonal desserts from Hoffman’s Chocolates. The first one hundred guests to purchase at Hoffman’s Chocolate on the night of the event will be gifted a free twelve-inch gold or silver nutcracker.

Following the event, the public is invited by Hoffman’s Chocolates to visit the store at their leisure to view a captivating 40-foot holiday tree, which will remain illuminated during store hours. Visitors are also encouraged to check out the festive nonprofit wreath displays, participate in chocolate-making classes, and indulge in delicious gourmet chocolates and confections. On select Friday and Saturday evenings in December, from 6 to 9 p.m., the community will also have the opportunity to take photos with Santa. The dates for this event include Dec. 8 and 9, Dec. 15 and 16, and Dec. 22 and 23. Additionally, in partnership with Florida Blue, Hoffman’s Chocolates will offer a 15% discount on purchases to customers who present proof of an original and valid Florida Blue insurance card at any of its retail locations during the holiday season. This offer is only valid in-store from Nov. 24 to Dec. 30, 2023.

“We are so excited to host Hoffman’s Chocolates Holiday Extravaganza presented by Florida Blue to help spread the holiday spirit to our local community,” Lois Marino says, Executive Director, BBX Capital Foundation and Director of Community Engagement, BBX Capital Inc. “Our goal is to capture the essence of the season by creating lasting memories for our community and foster goodwill through our nonprofit holiday wreath program.”

As part of its ongoing commitment to philanthropy, Hoffman’s Chocolates is again partnering with local nonprofit organizations for its Holiday Wreath Display Contest, which BBX Capital, UBS, and IT’SUGAR sponsor. Under this initiative, seven nonprofits will decorate wreaths displayed at Hoffman’s Chocolates in Greenacres during the Hoffman’s Chocolates Holiday Extravaganza presented by Florida Blue. The public is invited to vote for their favorite wreath by visiting the Hoffman’s Chocolates website beginning on November 24th or by using a dedicated QR code in-store. The nonprofit with the most votes will receive a donation of $1,500.

Hoffman’s Chocolates offers chocolate-making classes at their Greenacres location during the holiday season. The classes allow attendees to explore their creativity and make their own chocolate crafts with the assistance of Hoffman’s staff. The available classes include a Lollipop Class, 6oz Chocolate Bar Class, Caramel Apple Class, and Chocolate House Classes. Interested individuals can contact Hoffman’s Chocolates Greenacres Location at 561.967.2213 to get a complete list of class timings and register.
