KC and The Sunshine Band Returning to Hard Rock Live

The group plays over 100 live shows annually in the U.S. and throughout Europe, Australia and South America.

KC and The Sunshine Band will bring their distinct blend of R&B and funk to Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood on Friday, July 5. KC and The Sunshine Band remains just as popular today as they were when they burst onto the music scene over 50 years ago. KC, short for Harry Wayne Casey, helped create a series of hits such as Get Down Tonight, That’s The Way (I Like It), and Share Your Booty.

The group began their remarkable run in the 1970s as a highly influential band. They have sold over 100 million records, earned nine GRAMMY nominations, and clinched three GRAMMY Awards and an American Music Award. Their impact on modern pop music is significant, with their sound being credited with changing the landscape of pop. In 2023, they celebrated 50 years in the music industry with no signs of slowing down.
