Let’s Ride!

Bicyclists of all ages and abilities will take part in the Village of Pinecrest’s Sixth Annual Bike Ride Day, hosted in collaboration with Miami-Dade County Public Schools Vice-Chair, Dr. Lawrence Feldman. All types of bicycles are welcome, including stroller, tandem and recumbent styles.

The goal of Bike Ride Day is to encourage student and family participation in activities geared towards healthy and active lifestyles. Events include an obstacle course that teaches about bicycle safety, raffles and sponsors who will also be fitting and giving away bicycle helmets, while supplies last.

On March 14 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., cyclists will gather outside of the Pinecrest Community Center, 5855 Killian Dr., and ride.

At 10 a.m. bicyclists will have their choice of a two, three or four-mile loops that will be closed to traffic.
