At College HUNKS Hauling Junk and Moving, we strive to give back and be role models in the community.  It is our mission to participate in community based and fundraising events a few times per month.  Some notable past events have included: American Cancer Society Annual Fundraiser, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Tour De Broward, Broward Library Foundation’s Literary Feast, Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimers, Rebuilding Together: Broward County – National Rebuilding Day, RiverWalk Fort Lauderdale -Burger Battle and Smoke on the Water, the Wilton Manors Pet Walk, and Channel 10 WPLG’s My Future My Choice Big Book Drive and Toy Drive.

We also routinely provide move, labor and junk removal services for non-profit organizations such as  Best Buddies, which establishes a global volunteer movement that creates one-on-one friendships with people of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Camillus House which focuses on transforming people’s lives from living on the streets to live in permanent housing, and Operation Sacred Trust which takes care of veterans and helps them change their lives to prevent homelessness, build family relationships, and build a more steady home life.  We do as much as we can to benefit our community, and continue to spread the word about College HUNKS.

Here at College HUNKS we do our best to be involved with, and support, our community in any way possible. Whether that is going to a fundraiser, doing work for non-profit organizations and partners, or going to awareness events, you can be guaranteed to see us participating in our community.  Not only do we work here, we live here.  It is our duty to give back to our community.

Until next time, help us MOVE THE WORLD!
