NAMI Broward County Hosts “NAMIWalks” at Nova Southeastern University

The annual fundraising event on Oct. 5 promotes mental health and wellness.

NAMI Broward County is hosting “NAMIWalks” from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Nova Southeastern University, located at 3301 College Ave., Fort Lauderdale. This fundraising event will support NAMI Broward County’s mission to provide free essential support services to thousands of individuals with mental health conditions and their families/caregivers in Broward County.

NAMIWalks celebrates those who dedicate their time, share their stories, and contribute their passion to promote mental health awareness in the community. Supporters are encouraged to join this annual 5K walk to raise awareness and show solidarity for mental health causes. As a nonprofit organization, NAMI Broward County is committed to eliminating the stigma surrounding mental illnesses and enhancing the quality of life for those affected.
