New Peruvian Restaurant “Pasta” Nears Debut in Wynwood

The eatery specializing in fresh house-made pasta with a contemporary twist is expanding to the U.S. market.

Pasta is poised to become the preferred destination for pasta enthusiasts by offering a unique blend of Italian and Peruvian flavors. The highly-anticipated open-kitchen restaurant will debut in Wynwood in early March. The menu will include a selection of signature pasta dishes, including house-made stracciatella, pappardelle with 15-hour braised beef cheek ragu, tagliolini with anchovies, pici cacio e pepe, mushroom agnolotti, and others, all of which have been specially curated for Miami’s clientele.

Pasta was co-founded in 2019 by Juan Manuel Umbert and Janice Buraschi, a culinary power couple. The restaurant embodies a love story intertwined with culinary passion, inspired by the open-kitchen concept, simple, fresh ingredients, and a deep love for the culinary arts. Their dream of creating a pasta dining experience began in Lima, Perú. They are now bringing this authentic pasta experience to Miami, offering an intimate setting for over 70 guests.
