Palm House Named as One of the World’s Greatest Places of 2025

Palm Beach has long been home to some of the most exclusive and celebrated luxury hotels in the world and Palm House has recently joined their ranks. After opening in December 2024, Palm House has made a significant impact, earning recognition as one of Time Magazine’s World’s Greatest Places of 2025 this week. The accolade highlights the hotel’s blend of modern elegance and classic Palm Beach charm.

Located at 160 Royal Palm Way, the hotel is the first U.S. property under the Iconic Luxury Hotels collection from L+R Hotels, marking the first new hotel to open on Palm Beach Island in over four years.

Palm House was conceived as a refined retreat that pays homage to Palm Beach’s rich history while setting new benchmarks for luxury hospitality. The property underwent a five-year transformation, led by Cooper Carry architects, Muza Lab interior designers, and art consultant Minda Dowling, who infused the hotel with vibrant, vintage-inspired colors and textures that reflect the timeless glamour of the island. With 79 spacious guest rooms and suites, Palm House offers an intimate yet elevated experience, positioned within walking distance of Worth Avenue and the Royal Poinciana Plaza.

From the moment guests arrive, they are immersed in Palm House’s inviting atmosphere, beginning with the Palm Bar—a luminous, high-energy space featuring Murano-glass chandeliers, seashell installations, and pink marble detailing. The Sunset Pool Deck, the hotel’s serene outdoor sanctuary, boasts cushioned loungers, private cabanas, and poolside service that includes Evian spritzes and sunglass cleaning.

Dining is a highlight at Palm House, where The Dining Room offers a Japanese-Peruvian menu crafted by Executive Chef Jerry Ayala, whose culinary expertise was shaped by his work with the renowned Nobu Matsuhisa. The 88-seat restaurant, adorned in coastal turquoise and warm coral hues, invites guests to indulge in all-day dining, including signature dishes such as miso black cod and sushi selections that balance artistry with bold flavors.

The 58 guest rooms and 21 suites at Palm House are designed with sea green, sand, and coral tones, evoking a relaxed yet polished aesthetic. The Presidential Suite, spanning two stories, offers a private balcony, a butler’s pantry, and an Alaskan King bed—the largest in Palm Beach. The suite’s custom furnishings, intricate coffered ceilings, and hand-selected artwork enhance the luxurious feel, making it a sought-after retreat.

Palm House’s recognition as one of the World’s Greatest Places of 2025 reinforces Palm Beach’s reputation as a premier destination for heritage, sophistication, and world-class hospitality. With its meticulously curated design, exceptional service, and prime location, Palm House brings a fresh perspective to the island’s legendary charm, offering visitors yet another reason to experience the best of Palm Beach.
