Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, a plant lover, an earth lover or someone taking steps toward a healthier lifestyle, Gulfstream Park has the perfect event for you.
At the second annual Plant-Based Festival, attendees can enjoy a showcase of the latest plant-based products and foods. The family-friendly festival features more than 60 plant-based vendors, shopping, a main stage for presenters and music, giveaways and contests for kids.
In addition, Aventura Hospital’s nutrition and diabetes educator Michelle Larea will discuss why the positive impacts of plant-based diets and lifestyles on human health and the planet.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle, cup or cutlery to cut down on waste. Plus, the first attendees will receive multi-color stainless-steel reusable straws, a giveaway inspired by the city of Hallandale Beach’s plastic straw ban.
