Salt & Straw at Bal Harbour Shops Collaborates With Neil Patrick Harris On Limited Release Ice Cream Flavor

The scheduled release will be available beginning Friday.

To celebrate the upcoming Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF), Salt & Straw in the Bal Harbour Shops is collaborating with some of the festival’s top chefs, restaurants, and celebrities to create unique limited-edition flavors. The collaboration flavors are exclusively at Bal Harbour Shops (9700 Collins Ave. Bal Harbour) and complimentary to Bal Harbour Shop Access Members and for purchase for nonmembers.

The next scheduled release is with actor Neil Patrick Harris from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. from Feb. 16 to Feb. 18. Harris’ Boozy Espresso Martini Ice Cream is inspired by his After Hours Thomas Ashbourne Espresso Martini, a vodka and coffee liqueur spiked ice cream made with single-origin coffee, swirled with housemade marshmallow and Salt & Straw’s signature double-fold vanilla ice cream.

The Feb. 16 to Feb. 18 release will also feature Chef JJ Johnson’s Rice Cream, inspired by a recipe in his new book The Simple Art of Rice, a jasmine rice and palm sugar flavored ice cream filled with chunks of spiced rice cookies made with puffed brown-rice cereal, cinnamon, ginger, and vanilla.

In addition to their unique collaboration flavors, Salt & Straw is also offering some of their signature flavors at their Miami shops. These include their famous Salted, Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Chocolate Gooey Brownie, and Strawberry Coconut Water Sherbet (v). Furthermore, visitors can enjoy Salt & Straw’s complete menu of classics and the Chocolatier’s Series at all their Miami locations, including their newest spot on Lincoln Road (749 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach).
