Santorini By Georgios Perfects Greek Dining Experience on Miami Beach

The family-owned venue prides itself on a customer-centric approach.

One step into Santorini By Georgios on South Beach and you’re quickly transported into an authentic Greek dining experience. As plates smash to cheers of ‘opa’ howling through the bustling restaurant while Greek belly dancers entertain the energized crowd, there is no shortage of entertainment or great food to indulge in. The poolside restaurant in the trendy South of Fifth neighborhood remains dedicated to bringing the flavors of Mediterranean cuisine and Greek culture to Miami Beach.

As you enter the South Beach spot, you’ll be instantly transported to a Greek island with beautiful seascapes painted on the walls and Mediterranean decor enhanced by lovely light wood accents. The restaurant, connected to the Hilton Bentley South Beach, takes pride in providing its customers with genuine freshness in every dish. By offering fresh Mediterranean cuisine with a Greek touch, it specializes in a range of must-try dishes, including flaming cheese saganaki, chicken souvlaki, lamb kebab with couscous, wood oven pizza, Greek pasta, and salads. It also offers tasty mezes and handcrafted cocktails that add distinct flavor while heightening the senses.

The menu at the restaurant combines authentic Greek classics with Italian, Florida, and Latin American influences. Customers can choose from various dishes, including dips, Greek cheeses, keftedes in tomato sauce, grilled chicken kebabs, lamb gyro, and seafood. The restaurant also offers fusion dishes such as moussaka, Key West shrimp with tomato confit and grilled steak with tzatziki and chimichurri. The wine selection is also impressive, with over 6,000 bottles in inventory. Additionally, the trendy happy hour with wine and appetizers is a popular attraction for customers.

For my tastes, I was blown away by the Shrimp Mykonos – the smoky, sweet grilled shrimp paired perfectly with the sauteed spinach, juicy tomatoes, and briny Kalamata olives. The Greek salad was just as impressive, with feta cheese, sweet tomatoes, Kalamata olives, and crunchy Romaine lettuce all layered together in a very large bowl to create a refreshing and satisfying dish.

Diners can enjoy their meals in the restaurant’s casually elegant dining room or outside on the patio, steps away from the beach. Whether dining at the restaurant, lounging on the shore, swimming in the ocean, or relaxing in the pool cabanas, Santorini By Georgios provides various ways to try its perfect Greek dining experience. The vast array caters to everyone’s tastes. Whether it’s an after-work drink with tapas, a casual beach-side lunch, a romantic dinner, or to celebrate a special occasion, the restaurant is just steps away from the beach, providing the ideal Greek-style environment. Private dining, events, beach and pool club cabanas with food and beverages, and catering services are also available for booking.
