Like FAT Village and MASS District before it, the 13th Street Corridor in Fort Lauderdale has been receiving public funding to give you and your friends more fun things to do off the strip of Federal Highway. Describing the area as a “desperate situation” 10 years ago, Tim Smith, former District Two commissioner and founder of the Central City Alliance, has led the crusade to improve lighting and roads.
