The Spirit Charitable Foundation pledged $1 million to 44 nonprofit organizations throughout the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean in 2022. The donations were part of the foundation’s commitment to supporting children, families, service members and the environment.

The South Florida charities that received support from the Spirit Charitable Foundation included:

- Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center
- Children’s Aid Club
- Community Foundation of Broward
- Daisy Village

- Honor Flight of South Florida
- Humane Society of Broward County
- Jack and Jill Children’s Center
- Nova Southeastern Art Museum
- PACE Center for Girls
- The First Tee of Broward
- Women in Distress
- YMCA of South Florida
- Dania Beach Patch
- Urban League of Broward County
- Fútbol con Corazón USA
Donations are made through Team Member volunteerism and monetary and in-kind contributions. The foundation also hosts the annual Spirit Open golf event to raise funds with sponsors, including NexGen Aero, Airbus and Pratt & Whitney. All of the event’s proceeds go directly to charitable and nonprofit organizations.
