- Get In and Give Back: The South Florida Ford Dealers Association recently presented a check for $7,500 to the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation. The association launched a “Get in and Give Back” social media initiative, prompting local Ford owners to take a photo in their vehicle and share it on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #FORDGetin. South Florida Ford then donated $5 for every picture posted. - Badia Spices initiative: One of the area’s fastest-growing Hispanic food companies is once again partnering with the Dan Marino Foundation to raise funds and awareness for those on the autism spectrum. Badia Spices is donating 5% of sales proceeds to the Marino Foundation when consumers purchase a 1-liter or 33.8-ounce bottle of Badia Extra Virgin Olive Oil or a 34-ounce bottle of it’s organic extra virgin olive oil. To date, Badia has raised more than $800,000 for the foundation through similar annual fundraisers.
