“Crazy for You”

When: Through April 14

Where: The Wick Theatre

What: This Tony-winning musical comedy showcases more than 20 Gershwin songs and captures the over-the-top essence of the 1930s in its choreographed musical numbers. The plot centers around a city boy’s mission to save a failing local theater and a love triangle that forms along the way.

Where: Bailey Contemporary Arts

What: The exhibit features works of resident artists that have been featured in the past as well as some pieces currently on exhibit. In honor of BaCA’s fifth anniversary, the artists center their artwork around the symbolism behind the number five.

“Impressions: The New Aesthetic “

When: Through April 28

Where: The Bonnet House Museum & Gardens

What: ArtServe and The Bonnet House present an exhibition featuring contemporary and modern art from Floridian creators. The mixed-media exhibit presents an immersive experience through sensory events, projections and performance art.

“Can’t Live Without You”

WHEN: April 5-7

WHERE: Willow Theatre

WHAT: The Playgroup presents the story of Donny Hollenbeck, a writer with a seemingly perfect life who begins to receive unexpected visits from a character he dreamt up years ago.

Las Olas Wine and Food Festival

When: April 5, 7:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m.

Where: Las Olas Boulevard, between S.E. 6th Avenue and S.E. 11th Avenue

What: The city of Las Olas celebrates delicious bites and flavorful wine from local restaurants at the annual Wine and Food Festival benefitting the American Lung Association. This event features experiential showcases and giveaways alongside the tastings.

“Tamiami Trail: In the Beginning” pictured

Where: Bailey Contemporary Arts (BaCA) in Pompano Beach

What: BaCA presents an exhibition featuring artwork by members of the Tropical Botanic Artists collective. This evening includes a free opening reception during Old Town Untapped, where guests can enjoy the art and discover BaCA.

CrawDebauchery Food & Music Festival

When: April 6

Where: Pompano Beach Amphitheater Field

What: The sixth annual festival brings the flare and flavor of New Orleans to South Florida in a celebration of the “Big Easy.” The afternoon will include live music, a crawfish boil, crawfish races and much more.

Aquatics Clinics with Olympians

Where: Renaissance Boca Raton Hotel & Saint Andrew’s School

What: Meet Olympians Ryand Lochte and Caeleb Dresse and learn the ins and outs of competitive aquatics. The two-day event will feature a meet and greet with the Olympians, aquatics clinics for attendees registered with a competitive team, and brunch and auction in support of the Mac Crutchfield Foundation.
