The LOOP Welcomes Back Friday Night Sound Waves Concert Series 

The free outdoor concert is held every Friday night from April 12 to May 17.

Friday Night Sound Waves invites the community to experience the remarkable musical talents of South Florida at The LOOP (Las Olas Oceanside Park) from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. every Friday from April 12 through May 17. The weekly concert series, presented by the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Beach Business Improvement District, offers various genres, such as Reggae, Funk, Afro-Cuban, Top 40, Motown, and R&B.

Friday Night Sound Waves is on local author Christiana Lilly’s 100 Things to Do in Fort Lauderdale Before You Die list. The free event also invites early arrivals to enjoy pre-concert games on the main lawn at 5 p.m., along with local artisan vendors and various food and drink vendors to explore during and after the show.

  • Friday, May 10 – VAM Band, Top 40
  • Friday, May 17 – Valerie Tyson, Motown
