Residents atย The Palace Coral Gablesย recently celebrated the Chinese New Year/Year of the Rabbit with an intergenerational event. The entertainment included traditional dance routines and a music student presentation from visiting Chinese foreign exchange students and students from the Belen Jesuit Preparatory school studying world languages.

To honor the Year of the Rabbit, the Chinese students performed the Lion Dance and other traditional Chinese dances, accompanied by music using a variety of Asian instruments. Their Foreign Languages professor, Grace Chuang, spoke about the New Year celebrations and traditions and the significance of zodiac signs in the Chinese New Year, including the rabbit.
