U.S. Construction announces 1625 Ocean

U.S. Construction is betting on Delray Beach again. The company is building its second oceanfront development in the city—with a rock ‘n’ roll edge.

1625 Ocean sits on South Florida’s highest dune on Ocean Boulevard, minutes away from Atlantic Avenue, and features 14 residences named after influential artists such as Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and Janis Joplin. With four penthouses, six private and semi-private elevators, the development is “designed to create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living and situated on more than 120 feet of private oceanfront,” according to a release.

“Our vision for 1625 Ocean was based off the chic oceanfront lifestyles of places like St. Barth’s and Saint-Tropez where the water and nature are central to the upscale, but quaint coastal towns that have become some of the world’s most sought-after destinations,” said John Farina, President and CEO of U.S. Construction in a release.  “We are looking forward to bringing that intimate but swanky vibe to Delray Beach.”

The residences have three or four bedrooms and 3.5 to 4.5 bathrooms in spaces that range from 3,500 to more than 5,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. “Vast, free-flowing floorplans” feature summer kitchens, glass panel balconies, oversized terraces and stunning views with interiors by Stofft-Ikasu Design. In the penthouses, a private plunge pool complements glass-paneled terraces outside every bedroom. Residents will enjoy amenities such as a biophilic garden, pool lounge suite with lockers and a pool and spa. The underground parking garage will give residents two parking spots with electric charging stations and golf cart parking.

1625 Ocean will be built on the former Delray South Shore Club, which is scheduled to be demolished in the second quarter of 2021. Construction is expected to start in the third quarter with completion expected in the fourth quarter of 2022. The designer is architect Randall Stofft.

“Following the success of Ocean Delray, we recognized the demand for ultra-luxury development in Delray Beach,” said Dustin Salzano, CFO of U.S. Construction, in the release. “The availability of oceanfront land in South Florida is more limited than ever before so we are thrilled we were able to purchase this piece of property and create another first class living experience.”

Prices range from $3.9 million to $7.5 million. Learn more at 1625Ocean.com or call 800-755-0358.
