If you find yourself needing to relax in the serenity of nature while sequestered in your home, the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences has a virtual answer for you.
UF/IFAS recently introduced a video series called Florida Moment, showing viewers the beauty of Florida’s natural settings during different points of the day and night. The 60-second long videos feature a different location each month to offer a moment of respite from shelter-at-home orders due to COVID-19. The videos will continue to be posted after the crisis passes.
The first Florida Moment video shows off the beauty of sunrise at Paynes Prairie, a state park and U.S. Natural Landmark in Micanopy, Florida, that is home to birds, alligators, deer, bison and horses. It can be watched here.
