United Way of Broward County Celebrates 85 Years of Impact During Annual Mayors’ Gala

The prestigious evening will bring together influential leaders, philanthropists, and changemakers dedicated to building a stronger Broward

The Annual Mayors’ Gala will be a dazzling celebration of United Way of Broward County’s 85-year legacy of impact, honoring its unwavering commitment to strengthening lives and transforming the community. Set to take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, this prestigious evening will bring together influential leaders, philanthropists, and changemakers dedicated to building a stronger, more resilient Broward County.

Throughout the night, guests will gain insight into United Way of Broward County’s far-reaching impact, including its support of more than 130 programs annually and its extraordinary contribution of over half a billion dollars to the community over the past 85 years. The event will feature a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, dinner, and entertainment, along with a powerful program showcasing how United Way continues to fight for the health, education, and financial prosperity of every person in the region.

Adding to the evening’s prestige, WSVN Local 7 Anchor and Emmy Award-winning journalist Lynn Martinez will serve as the event’s emcee, guiding attendees through an inspiring night of giving and celebration. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit United Way of Broward County, helping to support its vital mission and ensuring continued progress for generations to come.
