There’s hope on the horizon: ScriptAssist Pharmacy, a full-service, online and retail pharmacy, is working to end the opioid epidemic in South Florida starting with the launch of its new Fort Lauderdale-based office. The Accountability Dashboard provides primary care doctors and pharmacists a transparent view of all prescription transactions, and the company has also developed an easy-to-use, comprehensive mobile app and online patient portal, which, among other useful features, sends HIPAA compliant reminders and alerts when it’s time for the patient to take their medications.
