Chiropractor-turned-business owner Matthew Ricci, a graduate of Cardinal Gibbons High School, is living the dream with Lucre, his “skater couture” lifestyle boutique on Atlantic Boulevard in his hometown of Pompano Beach that carries an array of international brands including Pas De Mer, Butter Goods and Quasi Skateboards.
Aside from a rainbow of boards that double as wall art, the store is peppered with vintage collectibles and comic books. “I feature a lot of ‘end of an era’ late ’80s through ’90s items, presenting a nostalgic mood for that generation’s childhood,” Ricci says.
