World Music Day Is June 21, But Kaori’s Hi-Fi Listening Bar Celebrates All Month

The Miami Pan-Asian restaurant and listening bar infuses music into the dining experience in a unique way.

World Music Day might be June 21, 2025 but Kaori Miami, the Michelin-recognized modern Pan-Asian restaurant and listening bar in the heart of Brickell, celebrates World Music Day every day, especially throughout June. More than just a dining destination, Kaori’s Hi-Fi Listening Bar has become a local favorite for its sophisticated sound-first concept, where guests can unwind to carefully selected Hi-Fi vinyl sets and DJ performances each week. Every Thursday through Saturday from 8 pm to midnight, Kaori’s Listening Bar features a rotating lineup of Miami-based DJs, celebrating genres including ’80s and ’90s classics, world music, boogie, disco, funk, bossa nova, Latin, hip-hop, and R&B. June is no different—showcasing a wide range of talented selectors who align with Kaori’s diverse and soulful soundscape.

On Friday, June 20, Kaori will welcome Ari San, a Miami-based DJ known for genre-spanning sets rooted in tropical rhythms, deep grooves, and smooth transitions between Latin, Funk, and Soul. On Saturday, June 21, World Music Day, One Twenty Max brings his signature blend of international beats, Afro grooves, Bossa Nova, and old-school R&B, creating a layered experience that perfectly complements Kaori’s culinary and cocktail offerings. Above the Listening Bar is the full-service restaurant led by Executive Chef Seth Fatah, whose ever-evolving menu pays tribute to the diverse culinary traditions of Asia while embracing local, seasonal ingredients and modern technique. While the full dinner menu is not available within the Listening Bar itself, guests can enjoy Happy Hour from Monday through Saturday, 5 pm to 7 pm, featuring a curated selection of plates ranging from $1.50 to $24

Kaori is located at 871 South Miami Avenue, next to the SLS LUX Hotel in Miami. Dinner is served Monday through Wednesday from 6 pm to 10 pm, and Thursday through Saturday from 6 pm to 11 pm. The Listening Bar opens at 5 pm Monday-Saturday, closing at 11PM Monday through Wednesday and 1AM Thursday through Saturday. For reservations or more information, visit www.kaorimiami.com.
