Wynwood Studios to Host NFT Music Festival During Miami Art Week

The first-ever NFT Music and Art Festival is coming to Miami Art Week 2021, featuring performances by Diplo, Guy Gerber and other popular artists. The immersive art, music and tech experience features four days of pop-up events presented by Wynwood Studios in the heart of Miami’s art district. Each night, from Dec. 1 to Dec. 4, the event will showcase major musical performances, an NFT Art experience and exclusive NFT offerings. NFTs (non-fungible tokens) are unique cryptographic tokens that exist on a blockchain, like a cryptocurrency.

The events are sponsored by FTX, a US-regulated cryptocurrency exchange with offices in Miami. FTX recently launched its new NFT Marketplace and will partner with Wynwood Studios to expand NFT accessibility to the public. Each night will feature exclusive in-person and online sales of NFTs on FTX’s Marketplace, collaborating with The Art Plug, an art collective and creative agency founded by Marcel Katz. The Art Plug will curate and produce this unique NFT experience, featuring art from some of the top globally renowned digital creators as well as a collection of algorithmically generative art (art created by autonomous code) called CryptoPilled.
