YMCA of South Palm Beach County to Host Annual Inspiration Breakfast

The YMCA of South Palm Beach County will host its annual Inspiration Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on May 19 at the Peter Blum Family YMCA in Boca Raton. Business and community leaders will come together in support of the organization. The yearly event aims to raise funds for the organization to provide financial assistance for its youth development programs.

“Overcoming a year like 2020, the YMCA of South Palm Beach County can’t express their gratitude enough to our local community members who continue to show their support for the Y’s life-changing programs year after year,” says Jason Hagensick, president and CEO of the YMCA of South Palm Beach County.

This year’s outdoor event will feature former Heisman Trophy winner Desmond Howard as the keynote speaker. Howard is currently an on-air personality and College Football Analyst at ESPN. After his college football career, Howard was the No. 4 pick in the 1992 NFL Draft. He played 11 seasons in the NFL and earned the MVP of Super Bowl XXXI in 1996.

Previous speakers at the breakfast featured notable professional athletes and coaches including Alonzo Mourning, Jason Taylor, Jim Kelly, Dara Torres, Bobby Bowden, Mark Richt and Shannon Miller.
Sponsorship opportunities for the annual breakfast are available.
