What: The program by the Girl Choir of South Florida features the theme of wind with pieces such as Shakespeare’s “Blow, Blow Thou Winter Wind” and Keats’ “The Winter’s Wind.” The choir also performs traditional and modern holiday music.

Miami City Ballet: The Nutcracker

A Christmas Story: the Musical

Annual Christmas Concert

Where: First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale, 401 SE 15th Ave., Fort Lauderdale

What: The Symphony of the Americas joins the church’s choir to perform classic and contemporary Christmas favorites, including works by Handel, carols, compositions by Bernstein and John Williams’ score for the film Home Alone.
