Four ways to celebrate the Fourth in South Florida

Miami-Themed July 4th Party. Celebrate Miami-style with a socially distant celebration at Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort’s Tiki bar. The menu features roasted pork, yucca with mojo, black beans, rice, maduros, pan con bistec, and pan con lechon.

Special dessert. Villa Azur in Miami Beach introduces a special Fourth of July dessert: The Baked Cobbler ($17; featured image above) is a sweet blend of wild berries compote, brown butter baked sable, vanilla ice cream and bourbon sauce delight.
