Tell us about your dog and what makes them special to you.

Frankie is a pure Biewer Terrier, a small, long haired toy breed from Germany. Frankie has a very calm, yet fun personality. He is affectionate and loyal. We take him everywhere and he is so well-behaved. 

How did your dog come into your life, and how has your relationship grown over time?

We went to buy a Christmas tree with the kids – our annual tradition – and the manager of the tree location mentioned her dogs had just had babies. My daughter, who has a Yorkie, asked to see the dogs. There were two – a boy and a girl. Frankie snuggled right into my neck and I fell in love. We have never had a dog before and I thought it would be good for Patrick (really it was me who wanted him!). Mike was resistant, sharing we had enough on our plates, but now he and Frankie adore each other.

What has been the greatest blessing your dog has brought to your life?

Frankie is such a calming factor in our home. He is warm and cuddly and so affectionate. He just makes us feel so loved!  We love spoiling him, because he deserves it.
