Miami Spice Celebrates the Flavors of Miami

Miami’s biggest dining celebration returns Aug. 1 through Sept. 30 as Miami Spice celebrates its 25th anniversary. More than 200 restaurants—including several Michelin-recognized destinations—will offer three-course prix-fixe lunches for $40 and dinners for $50 or $65. New this year is Miami Spice Reserve, a premium $95 dining experience showcasing elevated ingredients and chef-driven menus. The most exciting part of Miami Spice is its accessibility – with 200 restaurants offering dining deals, almost any craving can be sated.

Pro Tip: Check the Miami Spice website for the exact days and meal service your preferred restaurant is offering these dining deals – some restaurants only participate on certain days. All restaurant menus are subject to substitutions, and prices do not include taxes and gratuities. Visit miamiandbeaches.com/deals/spice-restaurant-months for a complete list of restaurants.

Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink

James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz’s eponymous classic, Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink, is one of Miami’s best-loved and most enduring restaurants. The chef’s approach to Miami Spice is to serve memorable meals made with locally sourced ingredients. Hence, there is no set menu for the prix-fixe Miami Spice lunches and dinners on offer. Instead, diners will be surprised and delighted with dishes that change several times a week. Some favorites will be offered throughout Miami Spice, such as a wood-roasted oyster mushroom entree served with dill-pickled asparagus, whipped tuna conserva toast, and wood-roasted zucchini. Miami Spice is offered for lunch on weekdays for $40 and for dinner daily for $50.

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in the Miami Design District is one of the finest restaurants in Florida. It has earned a rare Two-Michelin-Starred rating for its excellent prix-fixe meals, led by executive chef James Friedberg. During Miami Spice, guests can experience culinary excellence at value-driven prices. Indulge in signature dishes including foie gras royale, heirloom tomato and roasted beet salad, lobster and Corn agnolotti, Iberico pork presa, and black forest chocolate crémeux. Miami Spice is offered for lunch on Friday and Saturday for $95 per person, and a four-course dinner is available Tuesday through Sunday for $155 per person.

Stubborn Seed

Stubborn Seed has earned a Michelin star for its thoughtful tasting menus and impeccable service. Grove Bay Hospitality Group and “Top Chef” winner Jeremy Ford have created a truly unique three-course dinner for Miami Spice. Start off with a foie gras torchon with tomato yuzu jam, peanut miso crumble, and Sullivan Street sesame sourdough; followed by the “Stubborn” truffle chicken with pomme puree, Brussels sprouts and natural jus. End the night with citrus pavlova with candied pistachio, yuzu curd, olive oil cake, mandarin basil sorbet, and matcha meringue. Miami Spice is offered for dinner Thursday through Sunday for $65 per person.

AVIV

Chef Michael Solomonov has likened Miami Beach’s energy to that of Tel Aviv. At AVIV, he combines the spirits of these two cities through food. Guests start with hand-rolled Yemenite-style bread paired with Solomonov’s world-famous hummus. Entrees include a 72-hour slow-braised short rib, chicken schnitzel, or a fragrant eggplant muhammara. Dessert choices include guava sorbet, key lime knafeh, or dairy-free soft serve. AVIV has many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, making it a perfect spot for everyone. Miami Spice is offered for dinner Sunday through Thursday for $65 per person.

Japon at the Setai Miami Beach

Helmed by chefs Vijayudu Veena and Ivan Monzon, Japon showcases contemporary Japanese cuisine complemented by an extensive sake selection in an elegant, transportive setting. For Miami Spice, guests can enjoy a three-course dinner featuring starters such as chutoro yubiki, salmon sashimi, Kyoto cucumber salad, wagyu sliders, or a tuna truffle roll ($10 upcharge). Entrées include salmon teriyaki, unagi yakitori don,  mushroom kimchee noodles, or spicy chicken karaage. A  six-ounce filet mignon is also available for a $19 upcharge. Finish with chocolate nama, served with spiced pecan candy and orange marmalade. Miami Spice is offered for dinner daily at $50 per person.

Vilebrequin La Plage

If French Riviera vibes are your style, you’ll want to spend the day at Vilebrequin La Plage, the luxury swimwear brand’s new restaurant, located on the rooftop of the UNFRAMED, Autograph Collection in Miami Beach. During Miami Spice, the chic bistro is offering a three-course dinner that includes fresh Mediterranean flavors. Start with either a salad nicoise, burrata, or steak tartare before choosing between steak frites with sauce au poivre, salmon with summer squash and lemon confit, or linguini vertes with goat cheese, confit tomato, olives, basil, and pine nuts. Finish with a refreshing chilled cantaloupe soup or a luxurious warm chocolate lava cake. Miami Spice is offered for dinner daily at $65 per person.
