Already an international destination for its renowned outlet shopping, Sawgrass Mills now has a chic, contemporary hotel to host vacationers, Florida residents and business travelers.
The new AC Hotel Fort Lauderdale Sawgrass Mills/Sunrise is a joint venture with Simon and Norwich Partners in collaboration with Marriott International and Concord Hospitality Enterprises. The property boasts 174 rooms, a sophisticated Euro vibe, and an art collection curated in partnership with Art Serve, the Broward-based nonprofit that supports and advocates for the local cultural community.
The eight-story hotel also features the AC Lounge for cocktails, craft brews and Spanish-style tapas, and the AC Kitchen for daily breakfast treats. There’s also indoor and outdoor meeting space.
“Simon continually evolves to best meet the needs of our visitors, and the modern retail landscape demands a seamless cohesion between shopping, dining and hospitality,” said David Gott, general manager of Sawgrass Mills.
