The Ann Storck Center in Fort Lauderdale will host its 27th Annual Celebrity Chefs Event from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood’s Terrace Ballroom on Friday, March 31, to further its mission of enriching the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The annual fundraising event for the nonprofit organization had been on hiatus since the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020.
South Florida’s community leaders, philanthropists and influencers will be among the 250 guests. This year’s event will honor Susan Renneisen, vice president of Community Affairs and Special Events at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. Funds generated from the event will benefit the Ann Storck Center, which accommodates 96 permanent residents and serves more than 300 clients daily through critical care, learning and ability-focused programs. Since its inception, the Celebrity Chefs Event has raised nearly $5.5 million to support the center’s mission.
“It’s an honor to host our 27th Annual Celebrity Chefs at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, and we look forward to seeing everyone back in person,” Patricia Murphy says, CEO of Ann Storck Center. “We are incredibly grateful and humbled by the unwavering support of our board members, donors and restaurant partners who are committed to enriching the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities.”
The event will include local tastings featuring South Florida’s top restaurants, breweries and bakeries. In addition, guests will enjoy live entertainment, plus live and silent auctions offering luxury items ranging from unique travel opportunities and elegant jewelry to memorabilia and lifestyle experiences. Cocktail attire is required.
Single tickets for the 2023 event are $125. Sponsorships and underwriting opportunities range from $500 to $20,000. For more information regarding tickets and support, visit here. Restaurants, breweries and bakeries wishing to participate in the event at no charge can apply here.
