Place of Hope at the Haven Campus’ dedicated volunteers and mentors, Angel Moms, is hosting a Mother’s Day celebration event on May 14: “Brunch with Tiffany & Co.” “The brunch will serve to educate and excite others about the opportunity to help young people have a stable, caring home and a mentoring support system after they age out of the state foster care system,” says Event Chair Marcie Butters. “…We are giving youth a real positive beginning to adulthood. A Family Affair
The MOMS Club® of Parkland is hosting “A Family Affair” at the Parkland YMCA on May 4 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. This free family-friendly event features a “Kids Corner” with bounce houses, arts and crafts, shopping, food and drinks, live performances and more! Over 70 vendors selling handmade crafts and boutique items, as well as small direct sales businesses and service providers will be present. The event is sponsored by businesses from Parkland, Coral Springs, Boca Raton, and the surrounding areas.
