Hoping to match job seekers with businesses at one of South Florida’s premier retail destinations, the Galleria at Fort Lauderdale is hosting a job fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 19 at the east end of the complex, near H&M.
Businesses are looking to fill full- and part-time positions involving sales, cashiers and managers. Participating retail companies include Aldo, Banana Republic, Bath & Body Works, Sephora, and Victoria’s Secret.
Restaurants at the mall—among them, The Capital Grille, Seasons 52, Charley’s and Tobu Asian Eatery and Tossed—also are hiring for positions including servers, hosts, bartenders and food runners. A recent shortage of available employees has caused some restaurants in South Florida to offer sign-on bonuses to entice potential workers.
