Gulfstream Park Village Hosts Annual Symphony in Lights Holiday Celebration

The kick-off event features an expanded music program on Nov. 11.

The upcoming holiday season will be celebrated in style during Gulfstream Park Village’s annual ‘Symphony in Lights’ holiday celebration at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11. Visitors will be able to enjoy the seasonal holiday lights display in the open-air lifestyle center, which will be illuminated in more than 250,000 LED lights, all set to the sounds of holiday classics and popular music from yesterday and today. A 10-minute light show is scheduled to begin at the top of every hour from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. daily. The event is open to the public and promises to be a wonderful experience for all who attend.

At the community celebration, guests will be entertained by DJ Chris Cruz and music from the Valerie Tyson 8-piece band. Representatives from the Cities of Hallandale Beach and Aventura, as well as FPL and the YMCA of South Florida, will welcome guests. The event will also feature the presence of Santa Claus, elves, dancers and Nutcracker stilt walkers, who will be available for selfies with visitors. Attendees to Gulfstream Park Village can revel in the festive décor, which includes a new Christmas tree, a regal Santa chair and archway, elegant street light post ornaments, LED entrance lighting, and a show-stopping tree topper. Additionally, the holiday celebration features an expanded music program that includes new remixes of holiday classics and today’s top hits.

During the holiday season, Gulfstream Park Village will host Santa Claus on select dates from Nov. 25 to Dec. 24. Santa will be stationed in the ground-level Village Center. It will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Families can enjoy the festive atmosphere of Symphony in Lights and share their wish lists with Santa Claus.
