Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation to Host Annual Fundraising Banquet

The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation (GHOF) is hosting its 13th annual fundraising dinner to help support ocean conservation. Along with raising funds, the event will help recognize researchers, anglers, divers and conservationists who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to preserving the world’s natural resources and have worked to pass that passion of conservation to future generations. Funds generated from the banquet will benefit the GHOF’s ocean research and education efforts.

The famed marine artist established the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation to help enhance scientific research and educational programs to conserve the marine environment. Dr. Harvey and his daughter Jessica Harvey will entertain guests with news of new initiatives underway. Guests will celebrate the oceans and enjoy dinner, cocktails and a live and silent auction with original Guy Harvey artwork, exciting trips and unique gifts. Attire is an island-themed cocktail. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, tickets are limited.

Auction items include original and reproduced Guy Harvey artwork, exotic vacations, jewelry, gift baskets and other unique gifts. Proceeds from the evening benefit the GHOF’s ocean research and education efforts. The GHOF recently launched a marine science curriculum for middle and high school students based on Dr. Harvey’s decades of scientific research. The educational aspect includes virtual field trips that feature diving with sharks, investigating mangrove environments, witnessing sea turtles nesting and examining the impacts of pollution, climate change and overfishing on the marine world.

Tickets are $300 per person, and a table of 10 is $2,500. To purchase tickets, visit https://one.bidpal.net/ghof2021/ or email GHOF@GuyHarvey.com
