In Jacob’s Shoes 4th Annual Celebration “Every Sole Counts”

THE EVENT  In Jacob’s Shoes is hosting its 4th Annual Celebration “Every Sole Counts” on Thursday May 1, 2014 at Lakeside Terrace in Boca Raton.  The evening will include a delectable dinner, open bar, entertainment and fabulous silent and live auctions with auctioneer Neil Saffer. The auctions will feature a 5 night stay in spectacular Incline Village, Lake Tahoe; a four night stay at Ocean Club Resorts Turks & Caicos; Sheriff for a day; a thrilling race car package; a private chef party; gorgeous jewelry, artwork, golf foursomes, shopping sprees, sports memorabilia, beauty and spa services, hotel stays, restaurant gift certificates and much more! 

A 100% of the proceeds will benefit In Jacob’s Shoes providing shoes, backpacks and school supplies for local children living in foster care, shelters and poverty. Grants will also be awarded for camp, athletic and enrichment programs.

THE CAUSE  In Jacob’s Shoes was founded in 2009 in loving memory of 17-year old Jacob S. Zweig. Started by his parents, Parkland residents, Harlene and Murray Zweig and sister Alicia and brother Zachary, In Jacob’s Shoes is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity helping local children living in poverty to “walk with dignity”. The mission of In Jacob’s Shoes is to provide new and gently used shoes, school supplies and athletic gear for children and families in need. Since inception, In Jacob’s Shoes has provided over 25,000 pairs of shoes, funded camp grants totaling $155,000 and supports over 80 organizations.
