As the only Cholov Yisroel Kosher farm in Florida, L’Chaim Farm strives to bring organic and kosher offerings to the local community. To introduce and educate local children on their organic farming practices, the farm is hosting its 2021 Jewish Equestrian/Farming Summer Day Camp for children ages 5 to 10 years old through Aug. 13.
The weekly camp lasts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 5511 Woodland Lane in Dania Beach. It will include horseback riding and farming activities like goat milking, fishing, arts and crafts, weekly Parshah, water activities and more. Equestrian and farm experts, along with Jewish leaders, will help run the camp.
L’Chaim Farm is a 6 ½ acre urban and family-oriented farm offering Kosher products, which Adam Hendry founded in the heart of an orthodox Jewish neighborhood bordering Dania Beach and Hollywood. The facility also hosts a Farmers Market every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
