Q&A with Dr. Kira Fenton, Board Certified Internal Medicine at Prestige Weight Loss and Wellness

What makes your concierge medical practice exceptional in this community?

My concierge practice offers what patients rarely experience in traditional medicine: time, access, and genuine connection. By limiting my patient panel, I am able to provide same-day appointments, extended visits, and a warm, attentive environment. It is a luxury-style approach to care designed around trust, comfort, and truly personalized attention.

How do you prioritize preventive care and long-term wellness for your patients?

I take a proactive approach that focuses on preventing illness rather than waiting for it to appear. Through advanced diagnostics, regular screenings, lifestyle guidance, and ongoing personal communication, I help patients understand their health on a deeper level. My goal is to keep them feeling vibrant, active, and well for as long as possible.

How has your background shaped your approach to patient care?

Growing up here, attending medical school locally, and completing my residency at Broward Health Medical Center gave me unparalleled connections within our medical community, resources that directly benefit my patients. After practicing Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine here since 2011, I have learned that health is influenced by more than diagnoses. Environment, lifestyle, stress, and emotional well-being all play a role, and I integrate each of these into my approach.

What experience can patients expect, and how do additional services enhance their care?

Patients can expect a calm, seamless experience with a physician who stays closely involved in their health. Alongside preventive and primary care, I offer medically supervised weight loss, peptide litherapies, and metabolic optimization to support vitality, confidence, and longevity.

What does serving your hometown mean to you?

It’s deeply meaningful. Caring for the families who helped shape this community remains one of the greatest honors of my career.
