What is hot in jewelry for the summer?
I love long necklaces for the summer. Light looking, yet important. My favorite is a rare collection of mixed rose cuts surrounded by little micro set frames where the shorter necklace nests with the longer one. It is very ethereal and can be dressed up or down. It has amazing presence, looking both important and yet very wearable.
Another favorite of mine is a long diamond bezel set necklace mixed with bezel set emerald cuts. This is also something that is unusual. I would then put on a wide diamond open link cuff. Since the links are opened, it is the perfect look for the hot summer. Add a white croco strap watch to the other hand for the perfect summer look.
Other summer styles usually have fresh soft colors: Blue topaz, lemon citrine, pink tourmaline, or all pale shades of sapphire. You can always mix pieces with color and classic diamond pieces.
