Senior Beauty Day

Once a year Pinecrest dedicates a day to pampering seniors who are 55 and up. Area seniors are invited to get their hair cut and styled, learn about skincare and make-up and even get a massage. There will also be light food and refreshments.

Senior Beauty Day will take place on March 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Pinecrest Community Center, 5855 Killian Dr., Pinecrest.

Over 15 percent of Pinecrest residents are seniors and about 600 residents are over 80 years old. Pinecrest holds various free activities for seniors, such as game days, genealogy classes and exercise classes.
