Stitch Lab’s Three-Day Fashion Pop-up Returns to Miami Design District This Weekend

The upcoming seventh edition of Stitch Lab’s highly-anticipated pop-up shop will occur in the Miami Design District from Friday, March 15 to Sunday, March 17. Since its inception, the fashion incubator has helped bring exposure to hundreds of fashion designers across Latin America. Through their continued efforts over the years, both through e-commerce and in-person, these designers have found success in new markets and have introduced U.S. shoppers to a whole new world of fashion. Most importantly, Stitch Lab’s efforts have supported the goals and dreams of the next generation of talent in Latin American fashion.

Stitch Lab will host 43 designers for three days in partnership with the Miami Design District, the official sponsor and host. The pop-up will kick off on Thursday, March 14, with a private cocktail reception and will be open to the consumers from Friday, March 15, to Sunday, March 17, at Paradise Plaza. This edition will feature designers from Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, El Salvador, Venezuela, Uruguay, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Mexico.

“Highlighting the rich diversity of Latin American creativity, our pop-up shop is a vibrant celebration where talented designers infuse their cultural stories into a global style,” says Karina Rosendo, Founder and CEO of Stitch Lab. “We believe in providing a platform for these amazing creators to showcase their unique visions, fostering a community that embraces the richness of our cultural heritage.”

Stitch Lab will host Gaby Espino, a Venezuelan actress, model, and successful entrepreneur, at their upcoming pop-up event. Espino will accompany WIN Fitness Wear, the brand she recently collaborated with, to launch her athleisure wear line, WIN x Gaby Espino. In addition to Espino, the event will feature other noteworthy designers such as Shantall Lacayo, the winner of BRAVO’s Project Runway Season 19 and a Miami-based designer; Rodner Figueroa, a Venezuelan TV personality and fashion designer, and Renata Lozano, a prominent figure in the world of Colombian fashion. Lozano will also launch a unique capsule collection exclusively for the Stitch Lab audience to celebrate the opening of her first Miami showroom.

Stitch Lab has recently introduced more than 20 new emerging brands in their curation. These brands include Apré, a Mexican fine-jewelry brand; NelBlu, a Peruvian swimwear sustainable label; Flabelus, a stylish Spanish brand that specializes in turning classic espadrilles into colorful shoes; and FIORI, a high-quality leather handbags and accessories brand handmade in the Dominican Republic. The list of fan favorites from previous pop-up editions that are making a comeback this year includes Las SureñasPAMPAAdriana FernandezGoretty MedinaSigal, and Mia de Dios.
