Fight Time 37

  • Xtreme Action Park is serving as the host venue for Fight Time Promotions’ 2017 MMA season, as part of a new five-event deal with Alliance MMA. Mixed martial arts fans can catch the action live in the arena. The event is for all ages and open to the public.

Miami Marlins vs. Philadelphia Phillies

ReptiDay Ft. Lauderdale Reptile & Exotic Animal Expo

  • The one-day event will feature reptile pets, supplies, feeders, cages and merchandise, as well as live animal seminars and raffles.

Tequila Bay Country Music Festival

  • Miami is getting a ’lil country. A-list country stars Brantley Gilbert,Tyler Farr, Montgomery Gentry and Kip Moore are among those performing live. Food trucks (barbeque and seafood) and a free-flowing selection of tequila add to the food.
  • When: 11 a.m.

For bourbon enthusiasts looking to sample multiple pours, “The Ultimate Pappy Experience” flight highlights half-ounce pours of Pappy Van Winkle’s 20-, 23- and 25-year varieties.

  • 3030 Ocean: The oceanfront restaurant getting crafty with its bourbon cocktails. Try the Bulletproof (Bulleit Bourbon, fresh-squeezed lemon juice, sugar in the raw, simple syrup, and bourbon soaked pineapple), Harbor Beach Old Fashioned (Harbor Beach Private Barrel by Woodford Reserve, sugar cube, angostura bitters and Luxardo cherries) and In Smokin’ Fashion (Harbor Beach Private Barrel by Knob Creek, sugar cube, house-made orange bitters and smoked ice). Pair your drink with the Bourbon-Peach Glazed Chicken Leg with red peas, tasso ham, greens, turnips and house hot sauce.

  • Wild Sea: Take a walk on the Las Olas wild side with The Wild Fashioned cocktail—Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Amarena cherry bitters and an orange peel.
