Bastille Day at La Côte

  • Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s chic, Mediterranean oceanfront restaurant is hosting a Bastille Day celebration with French Djs, dancers and musicians. There will be  rosé and champagne  from the rolling champagne cart featuring Veuve Clicquot Champagne  and Bertaud Belieu  Rosé along with two specialty cocktails: French Press (made with vodka and fresh watermelon juice) and Bastille (made with vodka, Prosecco and passionfruit).

Bastille Day at Meat Market

  • The steak house will host a wine tasting, featuring rare Rosé wines from the Côtes de Provence and Bandol regions in France. Hors d’oeuvres will be served, as well.

For the fans of “Game of Thrones”  

  • The HBO’s seventh season premiere on July 16, Beaker & Gray has been showcasing Game of Throne-inspired dishes all week, including the Greyjoy Sausage, which is served with peas and onions, dragon roasted potatoes topped with rosemary and Winterfell Ale, and the Dragon’s Blood Panna Cotta, made with raspberry, key lime, and white chocolate. Libations include North of The Wall (?ubrówka bison grass vodka, berry-pine nut cordial, and milk of the poppy) and Castle Black (Kraken spiced rum, black orgeat, allspice dram and sombrero chocolate stout).

Smoke on the Water BBQ Feast and Competition

  • Enjoy live music, cold beer and barbecue starting at $5. Local pitmasters will compete to be named champion.

Metro Diner pre-opening

  • The classic diner is celebrating the opening of its second South Florida location with a weekend of charity. Guests who bring a donation for the Kiwanis Club of Tamarac will get a sneak peak of the new joint, which was featured on The Food Network’s “Diner’s, Drive-In’s and Dives” and offers all-day breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant opens July 18.
