This Week at Sonesta

On August 6 and 7, South Florida locals can stop by Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach for delightful evenings of delicious food, drinks and more!

In honor of its Caribbean-American fusion of flavors, Steelpan at Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach will celebrate Jamaican Independence Day on August 6 with an inspired array of exclusive menu items. This one-day-only menu will feature items like a whole fried snapper, oxtail brown stew, rum raisin ice cream served in a coconut shell (not yet available on Steelpan’s regular menu) and $6 “Sky Juice” cocktails (pictured). Enjoy these delicious creations crafted by Jamaican Chef Kevin Baker as you relax in the oceanfront eatery.

Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort will host a high-energy Zumba lesson with oceanfront views on Wednesday, August 7 at 7 p.m. This event will take place on Sonesta’s front lawn with beautiful oceanfront views and a light sea breeze. The class is open to all experience levels. Participants can also enjoy a complimentary Steelpan signature sip at the end of the lesson and will be sent home with an exclusive gift from the on-site restaurant. Click here to register.
