Tower Club Fort Lauderdale to Host Annual Charity Art Exhibit

Tower Club Fort Lauderdale (100 Southeast Third Ave., 28th Floor) will hold its second Annual Charity Art Exhibit at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 14. The community is invited to the private club for the charity art exhibit in support of the South Florida Symphony Orchestra’s Symphony in the Schools program. The event will feature a cocktail reception, DJ and a silent auction showcasing the works of several local artists, such as Lee Brock, Andrea Huffman, Ornella Verano and Yozzy Davilsaint.

“We are deeply grateful to Tower Club Fort Lauderdale and TJ Walsh for hosting this event to support our Symphony in the Schools program,” Jacqueline Lorber says, president and CEO of South Florida Symphony Orchestra. “In the past five years, we have provided over $3.5 million in services and resources for our education programs. Funds raised from this event will help ensure the continuation of these important programs that benefit children from underserved communities.”

The Symphony in Schools program is a crown jewel of the South Florida Symphony Orchestra’s outreach initiatives, engaging over 100,000 children from Fort Lauderdale to the Florida Keys and allowing them to experience classical music – often for the first time — both through performances and educational engagements. South Florida Symphony Orchestra, the largest professional orchestra in the region, is committed to delighting, inspiring, and educating the communities they serve. Founded 25 years ago by Music Director Maestra Sebrina María Alfonso, South Florida Symphony presents more than 100 concerts and events throughout South Florida each season.

“Art is vital to the success and overall well-being of our community,” TJ Walsh says, Managing Partner of The Walsh Law Firm and Board Director at South Florida Symphony Orchestra and Tower Club Fort Lauderdale. “The South Florida Symphony is the leading classical music orchestra in the region and their educational program, Symphony in the Schools, is unparalleled. I am thrilled that so many artists were willing to donate their extraordinary artwork to benefit such a worthy organization and invite members and non-members alike to join us for the event.”

Tickets for Tower Club Fort Lauderdale’s 2nd Annual Charity Art Exhibit are $30 for Tower Club members and $35 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased at https://artexhibit2023.eventbrite.com. Additional ticket packages and sponsorships are available by calling (954) 522-8445.
