Upcoming South Beach Wine & Food Festival Events

The South Beach Wine & Food Festival’s (SOBEWFF) highly anticipated arrival from Feb. 23 through Feb. 26 will feature numerous events for guests to indulge in. To help narrow the choices, we’ve compiled the ultimate SOBEWFF weekend guide to learn where to eat in Miami throughout the festivities.

Wine Spectator’s Best of the Best

This walk-around tasting event at Fontainebleau Miami Beach pairs over 60 of the nation’s most acclaimed chefs with more than 65 first-rate wineries from around the globe. The event’s curated Wine Wall features world-renowned wine bottles that allow attendees to take the Best of the Best experience home. Acclaimed Brazilian-inspired Japanese restaurant Kosushi Miami and five-time Michelin-starred Chef George Koshoji will appear. Joining him is a special visitor from Brazil, four-time Michelin-starred Chef Jun Sakamoto, who will be in town to host an exclusive omakase experience at Kosushi on Feb. 28 and Mar. 1. Jazz Brunch With The Grey and Friends hosted by Mashama Bailey

Hosted and curated by the two-time James Beard Award winner Mashama Bailey, the Sunday brunch on Feb. 26 at Loews Miami Beach Hotel will feature a lineup of chefs from far-reaching cultures, flavors and cooking styles offering their take on traditional Sunday brunch fare. Chef Akino West of Rosie’s: The Backyard will be a featured chef during the culinary experience. 

Lunch hosted by Cédric Vongerichten and Tyson Cole

Uchi Miami chefs Cédric Vongerichten and Tyson Cole (a James Beard Award winner) are bringing the aromatic flavors of Asia to this SOBEWFF lunch. Uchi’s Wynwood location will showcase both chefs’ masterfully honed techniques and layered approach to multicultural cuisine, featuring a creative menu highlighted by fresh, exotic flavors of the Eastern culture. 

Culinary events at SGWS Wynwood

SGWS Wynwood is Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits’ multipurpose hospitality and education center in Miami’s most eclectic and creative arts and culture district. The 17,000-square-foot state-of-the-art center will be a SOBEWFF hub of culinary events, including Lunch hosted by Hattie B’s Hot ChickenA Journey of Discovery: Learn About the Agricultural Gem of Suisun Valley and the Recently Opened Caymus-SuisunFried Chicken and Cocktail Master ClassDaiquiri-Making Master Class and Fiorella Pasta Bar Pop-Up hosted by Marc Vetri.
