Valentine’s Day is celebrated every year on February 14 and is considered the most romantic holiday of the year. The holiday’s roots are ancient and related to a Christian martyr, Saint Valentine of Rome. In today’s world, it is celebrated with champagne, delicious aphrodisiac foods, and chocolate.

Most couples plan a romantic date night, all dressed up with the other 72% of Americans that go out for the occasion. That makes for very crowded restaurants.

When restaurants cater to that many reservations the quality of the food on Valentine’s Day can only be so good. They are crowded, over booked, four-tops becoming two-tops, and if one reservation runs late or over their 2hr seating, love is out the window.
