Warm Up This Winter In West Palm Beach 

Early 2026 brings an array of exciting offers and events in South Florida for everyone from foodies to families

This season, venture to West Palm Beach, a South Florida gem with a vibe like no other. Standing out from other popular destinations, it’s not just a beach town or a bustling city; West Palm Beach offers locals and visitors a mix of laid-back coastal life, old-school glamour, modern innovations, and creative energy all packed into one place.

Centered on the Intracoastal Waterway, there’s something magical about the walkable waterfront promenades, watching the sunset while boats drift by, and enjoying a diverse array of events, concerts and festivals right on the waterfront. West Palm Beach is truly a rare blend of urban liveliness and tropical oasis.  

Led by a strong arts and culture scene, institutions such as The Norton offer guests blockbuster exhibitions such as this season’s Rembrandt at the Norton, alongside a robust permanent collection featuring American, Chinese, European, and contemporary art as well as photography.  

The city’s public arts initiatives feature works from local to internationally renowned artists throughout the city.  Nature reigns supreme, with appreciation of the outdoors on display at The Park, a premier public golf destination, and Grassy Waters Preserve, a complex Everglades ecosystem perfect for all ages. 

Shop for luxury brands at CityPlace or in the eclectic shops and showrooms of artsy Northwood Village, and take a break at one of the city’s hot new dining destinations, many offering outdoor terraces perfect for people watching and enjoying the sublime weather. Following is a partial list of what makes West Palm Beach the place to be this season.

Experiential Highlights:

West Palm Beach GreenMarket: Saturdays, 8:30AM – 1:30PM: West Palm Beach Waterfront Commons: The West Palm Beach GreenMarket is back with more vendors than ever, extended hours, and a longer season. This year’s theme, ‘From the Ground Up, ‘ celebrates the farmers, growers, and makers who fuel this beloved community tradition.Shop fresh produce, baked goods, coffee, teas, and unique local finds—plus enjoy live music, workshops, and the market’s unbeatable seaside setting. Please note: the market will not be open on March 28 due to citywide events.

Palm Beach International Boat Show: March 25 – 29: Flagler Drive: The boat show provides visitors, exhibitors, and the community at large with an unforgettable event featuring more than $1.2 billion worth of yachts and accessories, including hundreds of boats ranging from 8-foot inflatables to superyachts nearly 300 feet in length. From the VIP experience to the AquaZone, there are activations that cater to all ages and adventure-seeking lifestyles.

Sunset Silent Disco: Every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:30PM at Palm Beach Post Park: Immerse and dance to the beat while watching the sun set in scenic Downtown West Palm Beach. Complimentary registration reserves a set of silent disco headsets that sync music to enjoy. Facilitators will guide the experience, and the dance portion will be followed by entertainment by a local musician or sound healer for an immersive live experience.


Clematis by Night: Every Thursday, 6PM– 9PM at Palm Stage on the Great Lawn, Downtown West Palm Beach: Head to one of the liveliest Thursday nights in South Florida to check out the weekly lineup at this FREE concert series. The area’s best rock, R&B, reggae, blues, soul, swing, country, and Latin music is featured with live performances by popular national, regional, and local bands. The beautiful setting in Centennial Square on the spectacular West Palm Beach Waterfront creates an unmatched seaside happy hour vibe, wrapped in the warm breezes and relaxed energy of an open-air evening by the water. 

Something for the Whole Family:

Family Fun Friday: Every Friday at 5:30PM at The Park: The Park, the premier public golf destination in West Palm Beach, welcomes locals and guests each week for Family Fun Friday. Starting at 5:30PM, guests of all ages can try the Toptracer Enabled Range and FREE putting course and enjoy food from The House. 

MLB Spring Training: Dates throughout February and March at The CACTI of The Palm Beaches and Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium: Catch major league action this Spring at MLB’s Spring Training. Enjoy baseball in the South Florida sun, watching the Washington Nationals or Houston Astros at the CACTI Park of The Palm Beaches, or cheering on their Spring Training neighbors, the St. Louis Cardinals or Miami Marlins, at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium.

Manatee Lagoon: Enjoy a unique, free, educational, and family-friendly Eco-Discovery Center designed for viewing wild manatees. Located adjacent to a Florida Power & Light (FPL) clean energy plant, the destination offers warm-water that attracts large numbers of these threatened marine mammals, providing, with its observation decks, an “above-water aquarium” experience.

Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society: A 23-acre tropical zoological garden that houses over 450 animals, including endangered species like Malayan tigers and jaguars. The zoo focuses on conservation, education, and providing immersive habitats for wildlife. 

Cox Science Center and Aquarium: Over 100 hands-on exhibits, a digital planetarium, and 10,000 gallons of aquariums make the Cox Science Center a strong draw for families.  Additionally, exhibitions like Top Secret: License to Spy offer up daring missions, codebreaking challenges, spy simulations and laser surveillance activities, while the Dino Trek dinosaur garden is a prehistoric wonderland complete with life-size dinosaurs, and Explorers’ Cove offers interactive adventures that make learning about the ocean an exciting journey. 

Arts & Culture Musts:

Art After Dark: Every Friday from 6PM at Norton Museum of Art: Enjoy an eclectic mix of live performances, film screenings, workshops, tours, and more every week. In addition, the first Friday of the month also features performances by some of South Florida’s best jazz musicians!

Jazz In The Gardens: Second Sunday of the month, 1PM -3PM: Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens: Enjoy a musical infusion of art and nature. Visitors will have the opportunity to listen to jazz on the main lawn in the magical setting of the gardens and discover the two-acre tropical gardens, monumental sculptures, artist studio and Norton House gallery, including world-class exhibitions.

Driving Miss Daisy: February 6 – March 1 at Palm Beach Dramaworks: This beloved Pulitzer Prize-winning play is the story of an unlikely, life-changing friendship between Daisy Werthan, a 72-year-old Jewish widow, and Hoke Coleburn, a Black chauffeur hired by her son Boolie. Despite seemingly insurmountable differences, their relationship blossoms into one of mutual respect and affection.

Palm Beach Opera: Palm Beach Opera offers a variety of ways to engage with the world of opera. From mainstage productions at the Kravis Center to exploring operas more in depth through Lunch & Learn programming, or Opening Night Dinners to performances from our Resident Artist Programs. Join and explore opera’s powerful world of storytelling. Mainstage season includes The Pearl Fishers (Feb 20 – Feb 22, 2026) and Rigoletto (Mar 20 – Mar 22, 2026). 

New and Coming Soon Culinary:

NORA District: West Palm Beach’s newest arts and entertainment district continues to expand with upcoming culinary openings such as Pastis, a critically-acclaimed, Parisian-style brasserie that has anchored Manhattan’s Meatpacking District for nearly 15 years; Del Mar, an exquisite dining experience, specializing in fresh seafood and Mediterranean-inspired dishes; and Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar, a funky neighborhood taco shop serving a variety of Mexican fare, fresh oysters, and creative cocktails.

Flamingo Park: Emelina:Offers a unique Cuban dining experience with an 18-seat chef’s counter with one seating each night. The menu is shaped by the Chef’s experience in some of the world’s top kitchens and is rooted in a culinary philosophy of curiosity, possibility, and respect for ingredients. Midorie, opening March 2026, brings Japan’s traditional culinary traditions through a signature all-day menu of upscale fast-casual donburi, omakase platters and a seasonal à la carte selection of sushi crafted with high-quality ingredients and seafood.

Clematis Street:Opening Winter 2026, West Palm Cowboy Club will be a vibrant, first-of-its-kind dining and entertainment destination that fuses Nashville’s pulsating nightlife with the flavor of South Florida. The project is in partnership with popular DJ Diplo as well. The Hacienda, a new food hall, will feature 15 vendors, including five retail stalls and eight full restaurant stalls, alongside food truck operations on the outdoor patio. Rounding out exciting new concepts is Mystic Table, opening Fall 2026, serving coastal Italian flavors with a modern steakhouse elegance and globally inspired seafood. 

CityPlace:Multiple new restaurants have joined the vibrant dining scene at CityPlace, including Ela Curry & Cocktails, offering a dynamic selection of Indian street food and Thali-style dishes from James Beard Foundation-nominated Chef Pushkar Marathe, along with Mango Mercado by Marathe as well, with made-to-order breakfast and lunch sandwiches, soups and salads, and daily and weekly specials featuring flavorful and seasonal creations. Fan-favorite PopUp Bagels is also coming soon, serving bagels fresh from the oven, hot and whole, to Grip, Rip and Dip.
